AI-scaffolded summary writing for pre-class learning in an undergraduate physics course

This study examines the use of AI-scaffolded summary writing as a pre-class learning activity in an undergraduate physics course, focusing on its effects on student engagement and comprehension. Findings indicate that AI scaffolding supports students in generating concise summaries, potentially enhancing their preparation for in-class instruction.
